Letter about lock down πŸ˜πŸ˜ŠπŸ†πŸ•πŸ΄πŸŽπŸΌπŸ©πŸΊπŸ’•πŸ¬

To Teacher I love the lockdown because I get to spend time with my family . I like being at home, but it is sad because I can’t spend time with my friends, but my mum and dad had so many activities planned for us, so it made up for me not seeing my friends. We baked a lot. We baked a delicious chocolate cake and it was so much fun. Me and my two sisters had a sausage sizzle for my dad and mum. My dad showed us how to start the fire by ourselves. We also barbequed the sausages by ourself. Dad and mum were so proud of us. Some days we played outside till dawn. Some day we played some Uno, Jenga, Rammi, Pictionary and some awesome puzzles. I was looking forward to seeing the Easter Bunny the whole time. But the PM said that the Easter Bunny might not come to everyone's houses. I felt sad. But on Friday morning the 10th of April, mum helped me, Mienke and Lianka get dressed as little Easter Bunnies. We looked so cute. Mum even drawed a little nose and whiskers on our face. Suddenly Mienke spotted easter eggs through mum’s bedroom window, and me,Lianka and mum were surprised. We quickly got our Easter bags and ran outside. The hunting was so much fun. There were eggs everywhere. It was so much fun. I even got to make my special chocolate nest with mini chocolate eggs recipe. Everybody loves my chocolate nests. Being with my family is best. I haven’t been on technology during the holidays. Just some movies when it was raining. I have been playing a lot and I enjoyed reading my chapter book, The Thea Stilton and the journey to Atlantis. When I did get a chance to watch movies, I really enjoyed Frozen 2 and the Abominable. Being at home all the time is so much fun because we bbq a lot, even during the week.

  1. Hi Karmi,
What a lovely letter, I can tell how important family is to you by how much you enjoyed it, especially the cooking and games! It sounds like you have had fun with the outside BBQs.
I would love to see you and your sisters photos dressed up as rabbits, I’m sure you looked just like wee baby bunnies!
