PMI Cricket

 

We went Arthur Fong Park to do cricket and there were different schools that did cricket too. It was great, and everyone had a great time at the cricket and I also had a great time. It was fun.

Hi, my name is Karmi and I am 11 years old. I was born in South Africa and moved to New Zealand with my family in 2018. I am fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans. Afrikaans is my home language. I go to Karoro school and live in Greymouth, New Zealand. I have a nice big family. I live with my Dad, mum and two sisters. I love to read and I am crazy about UNICORNS and all animals cute and fluffy. I love listening to music whenever I can! Drawing and colouring is my favourite activity. I enjoy baking and love to help with the cooking. I am an outdoor person and love going to the beach. Camping with my family is always the best. Being the oldest child in the house is AWESOME. I just love life and new opportunities.

Waitangi Day 2021

 Waitangi day is the day that family's and friends come together for this day.   

The Treaty of Waitangi was been signed in 1840, Feb 6. There was an misunderstanding of who should have the power to control to lead, and war. The misunderstanding happened because there were to different languages and there was a anger. 

This is why NZ celebrate the Treaty of Waitangi since 1974 on Feb 6.

 We have been reading a story The Ants And The  Grasshopper. 

This story is a fable. A fable is a story about animals that have been given human like qualities and the story teaches you a lesson.
