Strange Times
Going to school
Makes me very cool
Learning new stuff
Is never enough I will do my best
I won’t give any less
Writing my work must be neat
It is such a pleasure to complete
Maths and sums are such a bore
But it just keeps on getting more
Makes my heart feel good at the end
Playing outside
Where no one ever hides
Eating my lunch
You can hear me munch
Doing Jump Jam is so much fun
It is for everyone
Hearing the bell ring at the end of the day
Makes me wish that I can stay
But now we are stuck at home
With no teacher, so alone
But mum jumped in to teach
Now life is a peach
Having her help me
Makes me want to be more of an amazing me
But still doing maths is such a bore
I want to close my door
Baking stuff everyday
Makes the missing go away
Playing games here and there
Where’s my card? Where where where?
Not going out is strange
But I have many toys, quite a range
Readings my books at night
Makes me dream that I am a knight
I do miss my friends
Luckily Virtual meetings never ends
I wonder when school will start
I think I’m getting really smart
Wash your hands often, stay clean
You know what I mean
But for now I will stay home and I’ll stay safe
So that Corona virus will not make a wave.

Letter about lock down πππππ΄ππΌπ©πΊππ¬
To Teacher
I love the lockdown because I get to spend time with my family .
I like being at home, but it is sad because I can’t spend time with my friends, but my mum and dad had so many activities planned for us, so it made up for me not seeing my friends.
We baked a lot. We baked a delicious chocolate cake and it was so much fun. Me and my two sisters had a sausage sizzle for my dad and mum. My dad showed us how to start the fire by ourselves. We also barbequed the sausages by ourself. Dad and mum were so proud of us.
Some days we played outside till dawn. Some day we played some Uno, Jenga, Rammi, Pictionary and some awesome puzzles.
I was looking forward to seeing the Easter Bunny the whole time. But the PM said that the Easter Bunny might not come to everyone's houses. I felt sad.
But on Friday morning the 10th of April, mum helped me, Mienke and Lianka get dressed as little Easter Bunnies. We looked so cute. Mum even drawed a little nose and whiskers on our face. Suddenly Mienke spotted easter eggs through mum’s bedroom window, and me,Lianka and mum were surprised.
We quickly got our Easter bags and ran outside. The hunting was so much fun. There were eggs everywhere. It was so much fun.
I even got to make my special chocolate nest with mini chocolate eggs recipe. Everybody loves my chocolate nests.
Being with my family is best.
I haven’t been on technology during the holidays. Just some movies when it was raining. I have been playing a lot and I enjoyed reading my chapter book, The Thea Stilton and the journey to Atlantis.
When I did get a chance to watch movies, I really enjoyed Frozen 2 and the Abominable.
Being at home all the time is so much fun because we bbq a lot, even during the week.
